 Future Polish President and Nobel Peace Prize Recipient Lech Walesa an American priest and an interpreter/aide rendezvous in the woods for a secret meeting. Responding to a desperate appeal for help from the Solidarity leader to support their movement the American priest joins the cause to raise awareness and funds to help end the oppression of the Polish people.

 And in the process saves the life of that courageous young woman.
